Mission Statement
Missouri Western State University (MWSU) Department of Athletics is dedicated to student-athlete success in the classroom and in athletics competition, while promoting character and student-athlete well-being. In harmony with the overall mission of MWSU, the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association and the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the Department of Athletics is also committed to preparing student-athletes to be leaders in the community and in their endeavors beyond college.
