Griffon Golf earns 11 MIAA Academic Honors

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Griffon Golf earned multiple academic honors from the MIAA for the 2025-26 academic year, with 11 student-athletes recognized between the men's and women's programs

Lauren Mallow earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award after posting a perfect 4.00 grade-point average while majoring in Recreation Sport Management.

Mallow, along with Saya Schweitzer, Emma Spurlin, and Ines Vandaele, were named to the MIAA Women's Golf Academic Honor Roll. Vandaele also earned MIAA Scholar-Athlete recognition.

On the men's side, Aiden Asby, Parker Bunting, Patrick Johnston, Timothy Johnston, Davis Jungbluth, Coby Puzio, and Samuel Schoeberl were named to the MIAA Men's Golf Academic Honor Roll. Asby also received MIAA Scholar-Athlete honors.

The recognition highlights another successful year in the classroom for Griffon Golf, with student-athletes from both programs earning conference academic honors.
