ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Griffon Women's Golf concluded the 2026 NCAA Division II Central Regional on Wednesday at St. Joseph Country Club, finishing 16th in the 18-team field with a 54-hole total of 976 (325-321-330) (+112).
MoWest posted a final-round team score of 330 (+42) to close out the season against one of the top regional fields in Division II golf.
The top five teams in the regional included No. 47 Southwestern Oklahoma State, which claimed the team title at 926 (+62), followed by Nebraska Kearney at 928 (+64). No. 35 Rogers State finished third at 937 (+73), Minnesota State placed fourth at 941 (+77), and No. 32 Arkansas Tech rounded out the top five at 942 (+78).
Senior Ines Vandaele led the Griffons throughout the tournament, finishing tied for 15th individually with a three-round score of 232 (+16). Vandaele carded rounds of 79, 76, and 77.
Makenna Casey finished second on the team with a 248 (+32) after rounds of 81, 79, and 88. Saya Schweitzer followed close behind at 250 (+34), posting rounds of 80, 83, and 87.
Avery Wells recorded rounds of 86, 83, and 82 to finish at 251 (+35), while Lauren Mallow completed the lineup with rounds of 85 and 90 during the opening two rounds.
Emma Spurlin competed in the final round and carded an 84 (+12).
The Griffons improved their team score from round one to round two before wrapping up the regional tournament on their home course Wednesday afternoon.
The NCAA Central Regional marked the conclusion of the 2026 season for Griffon Women's Golf.
