ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Griffon baseball has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring a competitive blend of regional nonconference opponents and Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) play throughout the spring season.
The Griffons open the 2026 season on the road at MSU Denver on Jan. 31–Feb. 1 before returning to St. Joseph for their first home action of the year. MoWest will host Concordia-St. Paul from Feb. 6–8, followed by a home series against St. Cloud State from Feb. 13–15. MIAA play begins on the road at Pittsburg State from Feb. 20–22, before the Griffons open MIAA home action against Central Oklahoma from Feb. 27–March 1.
March features a full slate of conference action both at home and on the road. The Griffons begin the month with an MIAA road series at Central Missouri, followed by a single nonconference home game against Truman State. Conference play continues with home series against Fort Hays State, a single game vs. Emporia State, and a home series vs. Newman, while the Griffons also travel for MIAA series at Northeastern State, with a single game at Northwest Missouri State and Emporia State.
April slate features several key matchups both at home and on the road. The Griffons will host Washburn, a single game vs. Northwest Missouri State, nonconference home and away contests against Rockhurst, a single game vs. Emporia State, and close the regular season with a home series against Rogers State. MWSU will also travel for conference series at Missouri Southern and Arkansas–Fort Smith, along with a single game at Northwest Missouri State.
