KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced its major postseason awards and All-MIAA teams from the 2025 women's soccer season, selected by head coaches from all 13 MIAA women's soccer institutions. MoWest Soccer had a total of 10 student-athletes on the All-MIAA list, including two First Team selections, one Second Team, one Third Team, and six Honorable Mentions.
ALL-MIAA FIRST TEAM
Defender –
Nicoletta Froehlich, Sr.
In conference play, Froehlich started all 12 MIAA matches and logged 1,033 total minutes, playing the full 90 in eight contests. She tallied two assists and two points while anchoring a Griffon defense that recorded eight shutouts in league action. Froehlich was honored as one of the MIAA Soccer Athletes of the Week, earning the league's Week 7 Defender of the Week award.
Midfielder –
Kendall Knisley, Jr.
In conference play, Knisley appeared in all 12 MIAA matches, scoring six goals and totaling 12 points on 40 shots with 18 on goal. She averaged 3.33 shots per game and 0.50 goals per game across 855 minutes, serving as a key offensive presence for the Griffons.

Midfielder –
Aidyn Woodall, Sr.
In conference play, Woodall started all 12 MIAA matches, logging 811 total minutes. She recorded six assists and six points, averaging 0.50 assists per game to pace the Griffon midfield. Her vision and precision passing made her a key playmaker in MoWest's attack.

Brookelyn Buttolph, Sr.
In conference play, Buttolph appeared in 11 MIAA matches with 11 starts, logging 909 total minutes. She played the full 90 minutes in seven of those contests while co-anchoring a Griffon defense that recorded eight shutouts in league action.

Forward –
Rachyl Benavides, Sr.
In MIAA play, senior forward Benavides started nine of 12 matches, recording two goals and one assist. She took 11 shots with five on target, and scoring one game-winner while logging 468 minutes for the Griffons.
Midfielder –
Kaari Little, Jr.
In MIAA play, junior midfielder Little appeared in all 12 conference matches, starting eight and logging 643 minutes. She registered 12 shots with five on goal for a .417 shots-on-goal percentage, contributing consistently in the midfield throughout league action.
Midfielder –
Alyssa French, So.
In MIAA play, sophomore midfielder French appeared in all 12 conference matches, starting seven while totaling 594 minutes. She recorded one goal and one assist for three points, adding 10 shots with four on target for a .400 shots-on-goal percentage.
Defender –
Ava Smith, Jr.
In MIAA play, junior defender Smith appeared in all 12 conference matches and started 10, totaling 670 minutes. She helped anchored a Griffon defense that recorded eight shutouts in league action.
Defender –
Maddy Harmon, Sr.
In MIAA play, senior defender Harmon started 11 of 12 matches, logging 600 minutes and one assist while anchoring a Griffon defense that recorded eight shutouts in league action. Harmon was honored as one of the MIAA Soccer Athletes of the Week, claiming the league's first Defender of the Week award of the season.
Goalkeeper –
Morgan Byrd, So.
In MIAA play, sophomore goalkeeper Byrd started nine conference matches, totaling 720 minutes in goal. She posted a 0.63 goals-against average with 26 saves and an .839 save percentage, recording six shutouts and helping the Griffons to a 4-2-3 mark in her starts. Byrd was recognized among the MIAA Soccer Athletes of the Week, earning the league's opening-week Goalkeeper of the Week honor.
The Griffons finished MIAA play with a 6-2-4 record, earning the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament. MoWest will host No. 5 Northwest Missouri State in the MIAA Quarterfinals on Sunday at 1 p.m. inside Spratt Stadium.
