ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – No. 24 MoWest Volleyball (15-5, 7-2 MIAA) travels up Highway 71 on Friday, Oct. 24, for an MIAA matchup against Northwest Missouri State (8-10, 2-7 MIAA) at 6 p.m. inside Bearcat Arena.
The Griffons enter the matchup with momentum after winning six straight and seven of their last eight, continuing to rise in both the MIAA standings and national rankings.
MoWest has been balanced across the board this season holding a .750 overall winning percentage and a .778 mark in conference play, while proving tough both at home (4-1), on the road (5-1), and on neutral sites (6-3).
When these two teams last met on Oct. 14 in St. Joseph, the Griffons swept the Bearcats in straight sets (25-21, 25-14, 25-17) to secure their fifth conference win of the season. MoWest will look to repeat that performance and continue its strong midseason momentum as the postseason race heats up.
