ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – MoWest Volleyball closes out its three-game homestand this weekend inside the Looney Complex, hosting Pittsburg State on Friday at 6 p.m. and Newman on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Griffons (13-5, 5-2 MIAA) look to keep their momentum rolling after four straight wins and continue their strong start to conference play. Friday's matchup features a rematch with Pittsburg State (8-9, 2-5 MIAA), a team MoWest defeated in a thrilling five-set comeback earlier this season at the Gorilla Classic, rallying from two sets down to win 19-25, 21-25, 25-22, 25-22, 15-13.
The Griffons will then face Newman (2-16, 0-7 MIAA) on Saturday, as the Jets seek to snap a 12-match skid and earn their first conference win. MoWest aims to stay hot, finish the homestand strong, and continue climbing the MIAA standings.
Fans can watch both matches live on the MIAA Network, with live stats available on gogriffons.com.
