Sparked by the women's basketball program's first MIAA title since 2015-16, Missouri Western State University athletics finished ninth on the final 2023-24 Commissioner's Cup standings presented by McGownGordon Construction.
The Griffons' title was one of six top five marks. They were joined by football (tied for third place), men's golf (fifth place), women's golf (fifth place), women's tennis (runner-up), and volleyball (fourth place) in the same territory.
