HAYS, Ks. – Sophomore third baseman
Jackson Bryant continued a recent white-hot hitting string for Missouri Western State University Thursday, March 28.
Bryant posted a pair of singles in three at-bats for the Griffons to begin a three-game Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association series at Fort Hays State University. His plate production added to a six-game span in which he's hitting at a .391 clip with three multiple-hit outings.
Despite Bryant's robust offensive resume, a fast start for the hosts at Larks Field led them to a 14-3, seven-inning victory. FHSU roared out to a 9-0 lead after two innings and didn't look back.
