SAINT JOSEPH, Missouri -- Missouri Western State fought back from a two-point halftime deficit to take down Quincy 31-16 at home on Saturday afternoon.
The triumph improved Missouri Western State's record to 4-7 on the season while the Hawks fell to 5-4.
Marrell Fountain led all Griffons rushers with 92 yards in the contest, picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Rickie Dunn also added 91 yards on the ground, averaging 8.3 yards per carry. Branden Berwald chipped in with 59 yards as well, averaging 5.9 yards per carry.
Tyler Carey pulled in four catches for 117 yards and one score.
