ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Falling into a 4-0 hole early, Griffon Baseball dropped game two vs. No. 16/12 Missouri Southern 5-3 on Saturday at the Spring Sports Complex. 
While the Lions did take a comfortable lead with four runs in the top of the third, Missouri Western centerfielder 
Jared Munk responded in the bottom half of the frame with a two-run home run to left field. Trailing 5-2 later on in the sixth, 
Will Courtney sent a solo shot to left to cut MSSU's lead down to two. Later on in the ninth with 
Brenden Andersen on base after a hit by pitch, 
Travis Wiese grounded into a fielder's choice to end the game at 5-3.
After the game, Missouri Western recognized 15 players on Senior Day.
