CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Another monster game from
Karlin York lifted Griffon Lacrosse vs. Lee University on Friday night, as Missouri Western left the Ray Conn Sports Complex with an 11-8 win.
After suffering a 2-0 deficit early on in the first quarter, Missouri Western (3-3) ran away for the rest of the first half, embarking on a 7-0 run to go into the third quarter up 7-2. York scored three of her five goals in the first half, dishing two assists throughout the first two quarters in the process. The Flames (4-5) made it a 9-7 game late in the fourth, but York's fifth and final goal helped put Lee away for good.
