EDMOND, Okla. — The season-opening gauntlet for Griffon Baseball continues on Thursday with yet another top-25 team in their way, as Missouri Western will open a three-game series with No. 13 Central Oklahoma at Wendell Simmons Field.

TOP-25 TSUNAMI
Yet again, Missouri Western (3-3) is set to square off with another team ranked in the
NCBWA Division Top-25 Poll, traveling to Edmond for its first MIAA series of the season. Missouri Western is 0-2 so far vs. top-25 teams but is 2-1 vs. opponents only receiving votes in the national polls. The Griffons have yet to lose or win back-to-back games this season, alternating results through their first six games.
SCOUTING THE BRONCHOS: FEB. 23-25
The Griffons are tasked with the tough test of UCO, a team that started the season 4-0 and has won four of its last five games. The No. 13 Bronchos are led at the plate by junior outfielder Cameron Uselton, who is hitting a team-high .364 at the dish with four doubles and 10 RBI. Behind him is junior infielder Seth Gray, whose slash of .361 had led him to a team-best four home runs and 20 RBI, blasting a three-run shot in his last time out vs. Southern Nazarene.
