ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Missouri Western Tennis dominated on Saturday, beating William Jewell, 7-0, at Genesis Health Club to move to 3-0 on the season.
The Griffonslooked comfortable from the first serve, winning the doubles matches by a combined 18-7. They dominated in singles play, only allowing two William Jewell (5-5) players to get to four points.
Lucia Casas Blas dominated her match, winning 6-0, 6-0. Seven of the 12 other matches saw the Griffs only give up one point in each game.
Both
Ariella Curci and
Anais Peralta Criado won their games, 6-1, 6-1.
Anya Chavez and
Cristina Granero Boj both won 6-1, 6-4, while
Izzi MacGibbon won 6-3, 6-1.
