ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — After starting the preseason ranked No. 25 in the WBCA Top-25 Poll, Griffon WBB is now No. 12 thanks to their first 3-0 start since 2021.

It's Missouri Western's highest rank since being tabbed No. 12 when the program wrapped up its Elite Eight run with a 24-10 record in late March of 2022. Missouri Western is coming off a 103-65 win over NAIA program Saint Mary. The win does not count towards the Spires' record nor MWSU's Division II mark, but nonetheless, the Griffons still earned 215 points in the latest poll.
