ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Whether it's going the distance or a sweep, Griffon Tennis has proved they can win both ways this weekend with Saturday's 4-3 victory over Cowley County Community College at Genesis Health Club. 

Cowley College came in with a 7-3 record and were hot off the heels of a 4-3 win over Northwest Missouri State University just this Friday. Missouri Western was down 2-0 early, but three-set wins by Anaís Peralta Criado, Claudia Iglesias and Ariella Curci gave the Griffons the momentum and eventually the victory. They play again next Friday, March 4th back at Genesis against Southwest Minnesota State University (9-4) at noon.
