Box Score ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri Western women's basketball notched their 20th win of the season Thursday, completed a season sweep of Washburn with a 67-44 victory in the MWSU Fieldhouse.

The Ichabods(12-12, 10-8 MIAA) had no answer for Connie Clarke, who led all scorers with a game-high 20 points and pulled down 17 rebounds. Corbyn Cunningham added 10 points and 7 boards, while Jaelyn Haggard dropped 9 points on 3-9 shooting from deep. Western held Washburn to just 30% shooting in the wire-to-wire victory.  

With the victory, the Griffons improve to 20-5 overall and 14-5 in the MIAA.  The Griffons return to action on Saturday night in the Fieldhouse when they face Emporia State at 5pm. It will mark the Griffons and Hornets' 2nd meeting in 5 days. Western defeated Emporia 81-67 in Emporia on Tuesday.
