Box Score KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Missouri Western Women's Basketball fell to Minnesota Duluth on Saturday night by a score of 79-65 in the D2CCA Women's Basketball Tip-off Classic at Municipal Auditorium.
Connie Clarke led the Griffon offense, scoring 14 points. 
Jordan Cunningham brought down eight rebounds, all of them defensive. 
The Griffons trailed by four after the first quarter despite starting the game on a 9-0 rub=n. The second quarter saw MWSU shoot nearly 54% from the field and 33% from three to give them a one-point lead going into the break.
Unfortunately, the Griffons struggled to connect in the third quarter. A 5-for-17 shooting performance from the field in the third saw UMD storm out to a 13-point lead going into the fourth quarter. 
The Griffons hung with the Bulldogs in the fourth, with UMD winning the quarter 23-22. Brooke Olsen led all scorers with 22 points in the contest.
