ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Griffons fell to the Lopers of Nebraska-Kearney on homecoming by a score of 39-18.
The two teams traded blows in the first quarter, with the only difference being a faked extra point that lead to the Lopers taking a narrow 8-7 lead. Unfortunately, that was the closest the Griffons would get, as the Lopers (5-1) would pull away to take the win.
