ST. JOSEPH – Missouri Western Women's Basketball closes out regular season action with two key matchups this week. The Griffons (19-7, 11-6 MIAA) host Northwest (11-15, 6-11) on Tuesday and close out the week with Senior Day on Saturday against Washburn (16-10, 10-7). MWSU will look to finish their season on a high note heading into the MIAA Tournament.
The Griffons will honor six seniors on Saturday for their contributions to Griffon Women's Basketball.

Anastacia Johnson and
Katrina Roenfeldt will be among the athletes that will receive recognition. After a 29-point win over Missouri Southern, the Griffons will look to carry that momentum into the rest of the season.
PREVIEWING THE GRIFFONS

- Chris Wilson averages eight rebounds per game ranking her sixth in the MIAA in that stat category.
- Wilson also averages 52% from the field ranking her fourth in the league in that category.
- Katrina Roenfeldt ranks second in the MIAA in steals averaging 2.7 takeaways per game.
- KT also ranks in the top-10 of the MIAA in assists averaging 3.6 per contest.
- Roenfeldt averages 2.2 made three-pointers per game ranking her in the top-10 of the league in that stat category.
- Kylee Williams also ranks in the top-10 of the conference in that same category, averaging 1.9 three balls per game for the Griffons.
- Anastacia Johnson ranks in the top-five of the MIAA in steals averaging 2.1 takeaways per game.

- The Bearcats lead the MIAA in free-throw percentage averaging 80% from the charity stripe.
- NWMSU ranks third in the league in blocked shots averaging 3.96 rejections per game.
- Northwest also ranks third in the conference in three-point field goals made per contest averaging 8.8.
- Jaelyn Haggard averages 2.3 made three-pointers per game ranking her in the top-10 of the league in that stat category.
- Erika Schlosser ranks in the top-10 of the MIAA in assists averaging 3.3 per contest.
- Jayna Green ranks in the top-10 of the conference in blocked shots per game averaging one rejection.
SCOUTING WASHBURN
- The Ichabods rank third in the MIAA in three-point field goal percentage averaging 35% from beyond the arc.
- WU also averages 14.77 assists per game which ranks in the top-five of the league in that stat category.
- Washburn also shoots 43% from the field which ranks sixth in the conference overall.
- Hunter Bentley ranks in the top-10 of the league in rebounds averaging 7.1 boards per game.
- Shelbe Piggie shoots 49% from the field ranking her in the top-10 of the league in that category.
- Reagan Phelan ranks second-best in the conference in assists averaging 4.7 per game.
