ST. JOSEPH – Missouri Western Women's Basketball hits the road this week for their final regular season road trip of the season. The Griffons (17-5, 9-4 MIAA) travel to John Lance Arena on Wednesday to take on Pittsburg State (12-9, 8-5 MIAA) and close out the week with a trip to Joplin to face Missouri Southern (7-14, 4-9 MIAA).
The Griffons will look to snap a six-game losing streak to the Gorillas on Wednesday following a huge 67-57 win over #18 Central Missouri last Saturday. It would not be the first streak the Griffs have broken this season. With the win over the Jennies, MWSU snapped UCM's 15-game winning streak. With these final two road matchups, Missouri Western will look to also finish play away from St. Joseph with a winning record.
