Griffon Women travel to Maryville to Take on Conference Rival

Griffs hope to bounce back as they take on Northwest

ST. JOSEPH – Missouri Western looks to bounce back after a hard-fought loss at Emporia State this week against a conference rival. The Griffons (12-3, 4-2 MIAA) will head to Maryville on Saturday to take on the Northwest Bearcats (8-7, 3-3 MIAA).
 
Prior to the Griffons' loss to the Hornets last Saturday, the Griffon women were rolling on a seven-game winning streak. The Griffs averaged 76 points per game through that time span while holding opponents to 56. The Griffons will look to keep pushing the ball offensively and make it three conference victories in a row against the Bearcats come Saturday afternoon. The Griffs have also won nine of their last 10 matchups with Northwest coming into Saturday's contest.
