ST. JOSEPH – Missouri Western Women's Basketball returns to the Fieldhouse this week for two finish 2019 as well as begin 2020. The Griffons (8-2, 1-1 MIAA) will play on New Year's Eve to take on Avila (6-5, 6-3 KCAC) and then play on Saturday and go up against Rogers State (2-10, 0-3 MIAA).

The Griffons look to continue their three-game win streak headed into this week's matchups. Missouri Western has only played the Eagles once in program history, which ended in a 104-50 victory for the Griffons. Saturday's game will also be the first time both teams will play each other in each program's respective history.
