ST. JOSEPH – Griffon Volleyball hits the road for the final time of the 2019 season, as well as host two more matches at the Fieldhouse this week. The Griffons (14-10, 8-8 MIAA) will head to Liberty on Nov. 5 to take on William Jewell (10-16, 4-7 GLVC), then the Griffs will host Fort Hays (6-18, 3-13 MIAA) on Nov. 7 and No. 2 Nebraska-Kearney (26-0, 16-0 MIAA) on Nov. 9.
 
The Griffons also hope to extend their two-match win streak this week as they took two match wins on the road last weekend at Missouri Southern and at Pittsburg State.
 
PREVIEWING THE GRIFFONS
 

• Missouri Western ranks in the top-five of the MIAA in average kills per set with a rate of 12.93.
• The Griffons also rank top-five in the conference in average digs (17.67), blocks (1.76), assists (11.85), and hitting percentage (.214) per set.
• Ali Tauchen ranks third in the league in average blocks per set with a rate of .96.
• Tauchen also ranks in the top-five of the MIAA individually in average hitting percentage (.332) and kills (3.45) per set.
• Tiana Butler ranks second in the conference in average digs per set with a rate of 5.89.
• Butler's dig average ranks 18^th highest in all of Division II and her total of 503 this season currently ranks 23^rd highest of all athletes in that category.
• Lauren Murphy has the fifth highest assist average per set in the league with a rate of 10.39.
• Jessica Sachen ranks second best in the MIAA in average service aces per set with a rate of .35.
• Allie Kerns and Danielle Moje also rank in the top-15 of the conference in average blocks per set, each with a rate of .70.

 
SCOUTING WILLIAM JEWELL
 

• The Cardinals have the fourth-best block per set average in the GLVC with a rate of 2.19.
• William Jewell also has the third-highest block total in their conference with 217.
• Elizabeth Quinn leads the GLVC in average blocks per set with a rate of 1.37.
• Quinn also ranks eighth in the conference in hitting percentage with a rate of .317.
• Kennedy Ruckh ranks eighth in the GLVC in average digs per set with a rate of 4.25.

 
 
SCOUTING FORT HAYS
 

• The Tigers rank eighth in the MIAA in average kills per set with a rate of 12.07.
• Fort Hays also rank eighth in the conference in average assists per set with a rate of 11.27.
• Delaney Humm ranks third in the league in average kills per set with a rate of 3.57.
• Katie Darnell ranks sixth in the MIAA in average assists per set with a rate of 8.02 per set.
• Abbie Hayes ranks sixth in the league in average digs per set with a rate of 4.06.

 
SCOUTING NEBRASKA-KEARNEY
 

• The Lopers lead the MIAA in average hitting percentage, assists, service aces, and digs per set.
• Nebraska-Kearney also ranks second in the conference in average kills per set with a rate of 14.12.
• Maddie Squiers leads the MIAA in average assists per set with a rate of 11.05.
• Anna Squiers ranks third in the conference in average hitting percentage with a rate of .340.
• Lindsay Nottlemann also ranks fifth in the league in average digs per set with a rate of 5.14.
