ST. JOSEPH – Griffon Volleyball (17-12, 11-9 MIAA) will head to Kansas City to enter 2019 postseason play. The fifth-seeded Griffons will play the fourth-seeded Northwest (20-8, 13-7) at Hy-Vee Arena on Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

The Griffons are coming off a two-match win streak this week, as they bested the Newman Jets in four sets and swept Central Oklahoma last week. Between numerous personal records being set as well as school records being broken in the last two weeks, the Griffons are ready to see what the MIAA tournament can bring.

- The Griffons also rank top-five in the conference in average digs (18.02) and hitting percentage (.204) per set.

- Tauchen also ranks top-five in the MIAA in average kills with a rate of 3.48 per set.
- Lauren Murphy ranks in the top-five of the conference in average assists per set with a rate of 10.20.
- Tiana Butler ranks second in the league in digs per set with a rate of 6.03. This rate also ranks eighth in all of Division II.
- Butler's total of digs on the year (633) currently ranks ninth in all of Division II.
- Danielle Moje and Allie Kerns also rank in the top-20 of the MIAA in average blocks per set.

- The Bearcats lead the MIAA in average blocks per set with a rate of 2.01.
- Northwest also ranks top-five in the conference in average service aces, digs, kills and assists per set.
- Hallie Sidney leads the MIAA in average kills per set with a rate of 4.08.
- Bethany Elkins ranks second in the league in average blocks with a rate of 1.02 per set.
- Elkins also ranks fourth in the MIAA in average hitting percentage with a percentage of .333.
- Maddy Ahrens ranks in the top-five of the conference in average assists and service aces per set.
