WARRENSBURG, Mo. – No. 9-ranked Central Missouri (16-7, 10-4) swept Griffon Volleyball (12-10, 6-8), Tuesday night in Warrensburg.

The Jennies clinched their spot in the MIAA Championships with the win. Central Missouri matched each Griffon run throughout the night with a run of its own. Missouri Western led 17-15 in the third before UCM went on a 9-1 run to get it to match point, 24-18. Missouri Western stayed alive with a 4-0 run, but a Hannah Engelken kill gave the Jennies the win.

- It was the third match out of Missouri Western's last four against a ranked opponent and third in the last seven days.
- UCM became just the fourth team this season to sweep the Griffons.
- UCM had just seven more kills than the Griffs but was more efficient, hitting .307 while MWSU hit .198.
- The Jennies hit .514 in the first with the Griffons hitting .371.
- Jessica Sachen had both of Missouri Western's service aces.
- Ali Tauchen was the only Griff with double-digit kills (12), but Sam Duncan had nine and Allie Kerns had eight.
- Playing in her third match this season, Katherine White had a career-high six kills.
