St. Joseph – The Griffons will face off against Central Oklahoma on Saturday starting at 1:30 p.m. MWSU will look to go for the season sweep of the Bronchos.

The Series
The Griffons lead the all-time series 6-2 against the Bronchos. Missouri Western beat Central Oklahoma 77-69 on January 4^th. The Griffons had lost two straight games to UCO prior to their win earlier this season.

The Coaches
Rob Edmisson is now 62-42 at MWSU in his fourth year and has an overall coaching record of 451-150 in his career. Prior to Missouri Western, Edmisson spent seven seasons at Oklahoma City and won a national championship in 2011-12.

Guy Hardaker is in his 10^th year as the Central Oklahoma head Coach. He took over in 2006 after a highly successful stint as a high school basketball coach. He is currently 164-101 through this 10 season with the Bronchos.

Missouri Western

• The Griffons are 22-2 overall and 15-2 in the MIAA
• MWSU remains in first place in the MIAA, they currently have a 1.5 game lead in the standings over Emporia State
• Missouri Western has clinched a spot in Kansas City for the MIAA tournament

• LaQuinta Jefferson averages 22.5 points per game and five rebounds per game
• Jefferson joined the 1000 point club against Northeastern State, she is the 19^th Griffon to accomplish it
• Senior Sarafina Handy averages 14.3 points per game and has made 56 three-pointers this season
• Miliakere Koyamainavure chips in 11 points and leads the team with 5.4 rebounds per game
• Point guard Chelsea Dewey  averages 4.0 assist per game
• Sefulu Faavae, Dwanisha Tate and Melia Richardson combine to score 14.6 points per game off the bench

Central Oklahoma

• Central Oklahoma currently sits 16-7 overall and 10-7 in MIAA competition
• UCO is fifth in the MIAA standings
• The Bronchos have clinched a spot in the MIAA tournament
• UCO has a home record of 7-3 this season
• Central Oklahoma has won four of their last five games, including a 78-63 victory over Northwest Missouri State on Thursday night
• Offensively, Bronchos score an average of 70.4 points per game (6^th in the MIAA) and allow opponents 64.2 points per game
• UCO is 3-3 in games decided by six points or less this season
• McKenzie Solberg leads the team with 15.6 points per game (8^th in the MIAA)
• Julia Mason is the second-leading scorer at 9.6 points per game and also adds four rebounds per game
• Senior Haley Weathers scores 8.7 points per game and converts on 46 percent of her three-point attempts (1^st in the MIAA)
• Junior Olivia Mason is the team leader in rebounds, averaging 5.3 per game
