ST. JOSEPH – Missouri Western Volleyball will be the 7^th seed in the 2016 MIAA Tournament.  The Griffons will travel to the 2^nd seed Washburn in Topeka, Kansas on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.

Washburn owns the season series against MWSU 2-0.  With four matches to open the season at the Washburn Invitational and a regular season match, Missouri Western is well familiar with Lee Arena. 

Last season, the two teams met in the opening round of the MIAA Tournament with the Griffons falling in a five set thriller at Washburn.  Missouri Western finished the regular season at 17-14 and 9-9 in the MIAA and secured its fifth consecutive year with a winning record.
