ST. JOSEPH – Griffon Men's Basketball looks for its first road win of the 2015-16 season and a season sweep when the team travels to Pittsburg State on Wednesday.

The SeriesThe Griffons lead the all-time series 38-33 against the Gorillas. Missouri Western recorded a 69-66 victory earlier this season that snapped a six-game losing streak to PSU. The Griffons last win in Pittsburg, Kansas was in December 2, 2009, beating the Gorillas 80-77.

The CoachesBrett Weiberg is in his third season at Missouri Western and tenth as a head coach overall. He is 28-45 in his time at Missouri Western and 167-150 overall. Prior to becoming the head coach at Missouri Western, Weiberg spent seven seasons as head coach at Northern Oklahoma College.
Kevin Muff is in his sixth season at Pittsburg State and has compiled a 86-76 record. Muff was named MIAA Coach of the Year after leading the Gorillas to a 20-12 record last season that culminated in the MIAA Postseason Tournament Championship and the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2007.
