St. Joseph, Mo. - The Griffons will tip-off at 7:30 against Northeastern State RiverHawks. They will look to claim their first MIAA victory of the season.
THE GRIFFONSMissouri Western stayed perfect at home last Sunday when they beat Baptist Bible College by a score of 97-57. The Griffons had every player score in the game, including four in double-figures.
Ryan Devers continues to lead the team with 14.3 points per game and 3.5 assists per game. The Griffons have three other players averaging over 8.5 points per game.

Currie Byrd lead the team in rebounding with 5.4 and 5.1 respectively. Senior
Cortrez Colbert has been the most consistent option at the free throw line and ranks third in the MIAA, shooting 87 percent.
The Griffons rank fourth in the MIAA in scoring defense, allowing 68.4 points per game. MWSU has averaged 7.4 made three-point field goals per game, shooting 33 percent on those attempts. Missouri Western continues to hold a rebounding edge, grabbing 37.4, and limiting opponents to 34.4 rebounds per game.
NORTHEASTERN STATE RIVERHAWKSNortheastern State University last played on Dec. 6 against Lindenwood, winning 86-65 and snapping a five-game losing streak.Â
The RiverHawks leader is Michael Harmon, averaging 19.9 points per game. Harmon sits first in the conference in scoring and three-pointers made. Demone Harrison is second on the team with 13.3 points per game. The leading rebounder for the RiverHawks is Keon Littleton, averaging 5.9 rebounds per game and chipping in 8.1 points per game.
As a team, Northeastern State is shooting 41 percent from the field, including 40 percent from three-point range. They average 74.1 this year and have allowed 81.5 points per game. NSU is averaging 32.4 but have been getting outrebounded by a margin of eight.
