6 PM - SPRATT STADIUM
 
Good Morning Griffon Nation!  IT'S GAME DAY!  We hope you have plans to join us tonight as 21st ranked Griffon Football takes on Pittsburg State at 6 PM.  Remember the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a FREE Gold Griffon T-Shirt, so get here early!
 
Beginning tonight, we will be scouring the parking lots pregame looking for the best tailgate of the night.  That group will be featured on the Heartland Sports Medicine Pregame as well as video segment on gogriffons.com.  So let's get those tailgates ready!
 
Please take note of all the exciting happenings in this opening night edition of the game day primer.

GAME DAY FORECAST:

Tailgate time 3:30 PM: Sunny, 95 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation, 17 mph winds
Kickoff 6:00 PM: Sunny, 96 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation, 16 mph winds
Halftime 7:30 PM: Sunny, 95 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation, 14 mph winds
Drive Home 9:00 PM: Sunny, 89 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation, 12 mph winds

TICKETS:

Fans without tickets may purchase them pre sale in the MWSU Athletics Ticket Office anytime today between 8 AM - 4:30 PM or may charge by phone at 816-271-4481.  Gold Coaters needing additional tickets may purchase them at reduced rates in presale as well as MWSU faculty & staff members may purchase half price GA tickets pre sale.  All youth 13 and under may pick up a FREE ticket at the St. Joseph Hy-Vee.  Tickets may also be purchased at the stadium box office beginning at 4:00 PM today.

MWSU Faculty & Staff may show their punch pass at either Spratt Stadium ticket booth for two FREE tickets to the game.
 
PRE GAME SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

3:30 PM - Gold Coat/Stadium Club parking lots open
4:00 PM - Ticket booths open
5:00 PM - Stadium gates open, members of the Gold Coat Club Board of Directors will be handing out membership brochures at the main concourse
5:51 PM - Introduction of the Griffons as a team
5:56 PM - National Anthem Performed by the Golden Griffon Marching Band
6:00 PM - Kickoff
