David Limbaugh, born in Independence, Missouri, came to Missouri Western in 1975. He was a four-year letter winner in baseball.
David was named to the NAIA All- District, NAIA All-Area, and NAIA All- America teams in 1977 and 1978 as a catcher. He currently holds or has held the following records in Missouri Western baseball history: first in career triples, first in career stolen bases, second in runs scored (held the record until 1997), second in career hits, and fifth in career doubles. David had a .316 career batting average.
David earned his BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry while at Missouri Western. He enrolled at the Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated second in his class in 1981. Doctor Limbaugh has been practicing in Sedalia, Missouri since 1981.
David has been involved in the Rotary Club of Sedalia (president in 92-93), District Youth Exchange Chairman for 7-years, Deacon at First Baptist Church, Soccer Booster Club (president 3 times), and has coached soccer, baseball, basketball, and softball for the past 20 years.
David and his wife, Karla, reside in Sedalia, Missouri and have 3 children, Blake, Lindsey and Brian.
