Tight Ends

Moses Harper joined the staff in 2022 and enters his first season as tight ends coach.

Prior to Missouri Western
Harper spent three seasons as offensive line coach at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo. He also served as associate head coach and offensive coordinator at Coahoma Community College in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Harper also had stints as offfensive coordinator at Fort Scott Community College and as an assistant at Highland Community College (Ks.)


Personal
A native of McComb, Mississippi. He earned an Associates of Arts degree from North Central Missouri College and Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Central Methodist University.
Moses and his wife, Roschana share 3 children Kaden, Elise, and Moses III.


Playing Career:
  • Was a two-sport standout for Central Methodist University, competing in football and basketball
  • Helped the Eagles to their first winning season in 18 years on the gridiron and was named to the All-Heart of America Conference team
  • Played basketball under Hall of Famer Jeff Sherman and led his team to 28 wins and a spot in the Sweet Sixteen of the NAIA-I National Tournament
  • Spent time in the Wichita Wild Indoor Football League
  • Inducted into the CMU Athletic Hall of Fame alongside his teammates for their work on the court in 2009
  • Played two years on the hardwood at North Central Missouri College leading the Pirates to the first 20-win season in school history

  • Developed two All-Conference Lineman each year since 2019.  Mentored an offensive line unit to result in increased numbers in total yards, touchdowns, and yards per contest.
  • Mentored two players, Danny Presler and Zach White, to five All-GLVC honors - Recruited NFL prospect and All Conference Wide Receiver Jalik Jaggwe. 
  • As Academic Coordinator managed teams GPA of 3.0.

  • Offensive Coordinator - Fort Scott Community College 
  • mentored 25 All-Kansas Jayhawk Conference performers and one NJCAA All-American, while helping 40 players move on to the next level, including 11 to NCAA-I
  • The Greyhound offense ranked first in the KJCCC and 15th nationally with 429 yards per game.
  • Served as the wide receivers coach at FSCC prior to taking over as offensive coordinator where he mentored former New Orleans Saints receiver Jared Dangerfield
  • Spent time at Highland Community College where he coached two All-Conference receivers, Former Green Bay Packer Tay Glover-WrightÂ
